How the Creative Process Works

I've had many people say, "I could never do what you do." In all humility, are probably right. A popular misconception is that creativity happens in a flash of inspiration, just the opposite is true. It is a way of thinking and approaching a problem. It is true that creativity and originality is a process. The imagination, a sense of curiosity, and analytical skills all play a part in it. Let's take a closer look at the five main ingredients: Time True creativity is not possible without sufficient time. Unfortunately is the first thing to go at cost or a deadline is the main criterion. It's like trying to build a house in a week, when in fact requires three months. There is little time to worry about quality or attention to detail. What we end up with the poor is a foundation and a pile of paint last-minute dressing is composed. After analysis of the information is gathered and organized, is distilled to a core set of data. The creative thinking and analysis begins writing at any initial thoughts and ideas. At this point has precedent on how much quality. After a day or so, the material is reviewed again. The above information inspires new thoughts and ideas and identifies unusable. Over time, two or three directions begin to emerge and eventually leading to one or two strong concepts. Concept Development Creativity is progressive in nature; inspire new ideas, even the newest. As the initial text and images to develop, minor adjustments are made, a sentence can be reformulated to have a greater impact or an image adjusted to add more interest. Creativity has no end point, so it is also important to know when enough is enough. When the execution is an agreed concept, the final production begins. The final copy goes through fact-checking and proofreading, high-resolution images are placed and any final adjustments to color and design are made. A critical part of creativity is attention to detail.
