What are 3d Models?

A 3D model is a representation of any object using three-dimensional computer graphics software. A 3D model can be displayed almost as a 2D image through a process called 3D or used a computer simulation in 3D animation, or display. Creating a 3D model is often a long and costly process. Therefore, modelers 3D animation and production studios, advertising agencies, architects, television and film production often houses to save time and money by using already made 3D models of sites as in their FlatPyramid.com projects. The 3D models at sites such as Map of the pyramid are created by highly skilled modelers or 3D artists from around the world using software that specializes in 3D, 3D plug-ins and other 3D applications to create a variety of 3D models in 3D several categories and multiple file formats, such as: 3D Studio Max, Maya, OBJ, Lightwave, Open flight, Softimage XSI, and Cinema 4D.
